Where we run a promotion, these are the terms that apply unless the promotion itself states otherwise in writing.
Using a code
- Enter the code before confirming your booking. A code cannot be applied after a booking is confirmed, because the price is fixed at that moment.
- One code per booking. Codes do not combine with each other.
- Codes apply to the fare, not to expressway tolls, airport parking or waiting charges.
- A code has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
Eligibility
Each promotion states who it is for — new customers, a particular route, a vehicle class, a date range. Where a code is used outside those conditions it simply will not apply at checkout; there is no penalty for trying.
Codes are personal to the account they were issued to unless the promotion says otherwise. Codes shared publicly that were not intended to be public may be withdrawn.
Return-trip and multi-day discounts
Where a return trip or multi-day hire is booked as a single booking, the discount is applied automatically by the pricing engine — there is no code to enter. Booking the two legs separately will not attract it, because each booking is priced on its own.
Cancellation and refunds
If you cancel a discounted booking, any refund is of the amount you actually paid, not the undiscounted fare. Where a promotion was single-use and the booking is cancelled by you, the code is treated as used. Where we or the operator cancel, the code is reinstated.
Withdrawal and changes
We may withdraw or change a promotion at any time. Bookings already confirmed at a promotional price keep that price — the fixed-price rule applies to promotions exactly as it applies to everything else.
Misuse
Creating multiple accounts to reuse a single-use code, or using codes obtained fraudulently, will result in the discount being reversed and may result in the account being suspended. We would rather say this plainly than handle it quietly after the fact.
