Ten classes are listed on the platform. The class you choose is the largest single factor in what you pay, because a larger vehicle costs more to run — so it is worth picking on what you actually need rather than on what looks comfortable.
The classes
| Class | Seats | Typically used for |
|---|---|---|
| Tuk Tuk | 3 | Short city hops. Cheapest per kilometre; open-sided, so not ideal in heavy rain or on the expressway. |
| Mini / Small Car | 4 | One or two people with light luggage. The value option for city and medium distance. |
| Economy / Medium Car | 4 | The everyday default — more boot space and more comfortable over distance. |
| Sedan | 4 | Business travel and airport runs where presentation matters. |
| SUV | 5 | Hill-country roads, rougher surfaces, or five people with real luggage. |
| Mini Van | 7 | Families and small groups travelling together. |
| Van | 14 | Large groups, tour parties, or airport runs with a lot of baggage. |
| Mini Bus | 30 | Corporate transfers, weddings, school and group travel. |
| Bus | 50 | Large events and long-distance group movement. |
| Luxury Car | 4 | Executive travel and occasions where the vehicle is part of the point. |
Choosing
Count people first, then luggage. Seat count is the maximum including everyone travelling — a four-seat car with four adults has very little boot space left, and a family of four with airport luggage is usually happier in a mini van.
For the hill country — Kandy, Ella, Nuwara Eliya — an SUV earns its extra cost on the gradients and the road surface. For a straight expressway run, it rarely does.
What you are shown before booking
Each quote states the class, the make and model, the seat count and the vehicle's registration number. You are choosing a specific car, not a category, and the registration is what lets you confirm at the kerb that the vehicle in front of you is the one you booked.
Current rates
Per-kilometre rates for every class are published live on the main site, in the Choose Your Ride section. That page reads the same rate card the quote engine uses, so it cannot show one figure and charge another. Rates are not restated here for exactly that reason.
Getting in touch
Every enquiry under this page goes through the contact form on the main site, with a category, a reference and a record of what you sent.
