Jetwing Yala is built across 38 acres on the coast at the edge of Yala National Park, close enough to the boundary that the hotel markets itself as the closest property to Sri Lanka's most visited national park. The Indian Ocean runs along one side of the grounds, with the park's scrub jungle on the other, so the property sits between two very different landscapes at once.
The hotel has 90 rooms and runs six separate dining venues across the property, a wider spread of restaurants and bars than most hotels of its size attempt, alongside an outdoor pool, a spa, a business centre and the Tapas lounge.
