NH Collection Colombo occupies a high-rise tower in Colombo 3 and is one of the newer names on this list in brand terms only: the property operated for years as Mövenpick Hotel Colombo before being rebranded to NH Collection Colombo in June 2024, when Minor Hotels entered a management partnership with the building's owner, Softlogic City Hotels. The building, the ownership and the 219 rooms and suites carried over; only the flag and the finish changed, and the rebrand marked the first appearance of the NH Collection name in the Sri Lankan market, backed by Minor Hotels, an international operator with several hundred properties across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and Europe.
What the rebrand brought with it is a more contemporary look across the property, with floor-to-ceiling glass in the rooms giving genuinely expansive views over the Indian Ocean and the city, depending on which side of the tower a room faces. Rooms are also finished with bathrobes, slippers and free toiletries as standard, and a kettle and large flat-screen television are fitted throughout. A rooftop pool takes advantage of the same height, offering some of the better elevated views available at a city hotel in this district.
