North Gate is a modern hotel built close to Jaffna's railway station, within a five-minute walk of the platforms and just off Station Road in the middle of town. It was developed as North Gate by Jetwing; the building and layout are the same one Jetwing originally built out, positioning the hotel at the centre of Jaffna's old town rather than on the outskirts where several of the town's other newer hotels sit.
