Questions about booking with Nelumi
Can I book a taxi in Sri Lanka with an AI assistant?
Yes. Nelumi, on Sri Lanka TaxiList, takes your pickup, drop-off, date and party size and shows real fares for drivers who are free. You then confirm and pay by card on our booking page.
Does Nelumi book and charge me in the chat?
No. The chat shows fares only. Booking and card payment happen on the booking page, after you press Select.
How far ahead must I book?
At least three days before pickup. For anything sooner, Nelumi points you to Contact us or WhatsApp.
Are the prices in the chat the real prices?
For one-way transfers, yes: they are the same fares the booking page charges. Quotes for other trips are sent by our team after they ask drivers.
Can I talk to a person instead?
Yes. "Prefer a person?" is on screen in every chat.
