Driver policies

Driver policies

Passengers on this platform pick you by name and photograph. That only works if every driver listed has been properly checked — which is why verification here is thorough, and why it is repeated as your documents expire.

Joining

  • Driver onboarding and verification — every document required, how long approval takes, why applications are refused, and how to correct and resubmit.

The short version: National Identity Card or passport, a driving licence valid for the class you will drive, police clearance, a medical certificate where the class requires it, and for the vehicle — registration, revenue licence, certificate of fitness, and insurance that covers hire and reward. Private cover is refused every time.

Staying listed

Verification is not a one-off. Insurance, revenue licences, fitness certificates and driving licences all expire, and a listing is only as valid as its documents. Every expiry is tracked and you are warned at 30, 14 and 7 days.

If a document lapses your listing is suspended until a current one is verified. That is not a penalty and it is lifted as soon as the replacement is checked.

What you are quoting

  • Pricing and payments — how a fare is built from the rate card, what is included, and what is recovered at cost.

The price is fixed when the passenger books. It cannot be revised upward afterwards, and asking for more than the quoted fare is a breach of platform rules. If a journey runs longer than estimated for reasons within your control, that is absorbed rather than added to their bill.

Getting paid

Card fares are settled to you on the platform's settlement cycle, less the agreed commission. Cash fares you collect directly, and the commission is reconciled against your account. Your earnings record is visible in your dashboard at all times.

Standards

  • Arrive at the agreed time, in the vehicle shown on the booking.
  • Keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy.
  • Take a reasonable route and drive lawfully.
  • Treat every passenger with courtesy, regardless of who they are.
  • Never solicit payment outside the platform or above the quoted fare.
  • Never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The last two result in immediate and permanent removal. The others are handled proportionately — you will always be told what has been reported and given the chance to respond before a decision.

If a passenger complains — or if you need to

  • Complaints and disputes — the same process both ways.

An allegation is put to you before any decision is taken. Where it is serious you may be suspended while it is investigated rather than after; that is not a finding against you, and you are told the outcome either way.

You can raise complaints by the same route and they are handled to the same standard. A driver reporting abuse, damage or a fare dispute gets the same investigation and the same explanation.

Safety

  • Passenger safety — what a passenger is told to check before getting in, so you know what to expect at the kerb.

Expect passengers to check your registration and your photograph against their booking. That is what we ask them to do, and no legitimate driver should object to it.

Your data, and theirs

  • Privacy and data protection — what we hold about you, why, and for how long.

You receive a passenger's name, phone number, pickup and destination — what the journey needs and nothing more. You do not receive their email address, payment details or booking history. That data is for the journey only: not for marketing, not to be retained beyond your own legal obligations, and not to be passed on.

Getting in touch

Driver enquiries go through the contact form. It routes your message to the team that can act on it and gives you a record of what you sent.
