What a Mini / Small Car is for

A small hatchback, and the sensible choice for one or two people travelling light. It is economical on fuel, easy to park in Colombo and Kandy where space is genuinely tight, and perfectly comfortable for a run of an hour or two.

When it is the wrong choice

The boot is the limit rather than the seats. Two large suitcases will not go in, whatever the seat count says, and four adults with luggage will be uncomfortable well before the end of a long drive. For the airport with checked bags, size up.
